ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

IMU Humanitarian Conference is a bi-annual conference organised by IMU Cares. It is one of the most remarkable events that bring together organisations in humanitarian field from various sectors including governmental, non-governmental, corporate foundations, tertiary education institutions, locally and globally under one roof, thereby serving as the platform for an open and wide-ranging audience to discuss various humanitarian issues.

This year, the two-day conference themed ‘’Restoring Humanity: The Whole Society Approach in the Pandemic Era’’ aimed to gain knowledge about new focus and developments in humanitarian missions especially in the post-pandemic era, recognise, discuss, and learn about humanitarian work experiences and challenges of others, as well as promote and enhance the spirit of volunteerism to meet humanitarian needs.

We are excited to host over 350 local and international participants, both physically at IMU Bukit Jalil Campus as well as virtually.

The conference is in line with IMU’s vision as an innovative global center of excellence in learning and research that are committed to serving the society, and IMU Cares commitment to become a university that grows towards a sustainable community development, which our focus areas are aligned with United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).
