Admission to the IMU

Admission into the IMU is based on the academic qualifications set and recognised by the IMU and the applicant's performance during the interview which is an integral part of the selection process.

To apply, please click here. Applicants must ensure that the minimum entry requirements are met before submitting an application. Admission into the IMU is competitive and therefore, no applicant is guaranteed a seat.

Processing Fees

Medicine & Dentistry Programmes
RM300 for Malaysian students
USD300 for International Students

Other Programmes
RM150 for Malaysian students
USD150 for International Students

Processing fees are payable upon submission of the form. Fees are not refundable regardless of the outcome of the application. Please make all cheques or bank drafts payable to "IMU Education Sdn Bhd".

Compulsory Subjects (For Malaysian Students Only)

The Private College Act (Section 34(3) Act IPTA 1997) under the Malaysian Education policy requires students to attend a course of instruction in Bahasa Kebangsaan (National Language), Pengajian Agama/Moral (Moral and Religious Studies) and Pengajian Malaysia (Malaysian Cultural Studies). At the end of the courses, Malaysian students are required to sit for the examinations. Students must pass all the papers during their time at the IMU.
