Students are normally required to offer science subjects at SPM or equivalent examinations.
English Language Requirements
Applicants are required to have one of these at the point of application:
| MUET | Band score of Band 4 |
| IELTS | Average band score of 6.5 (Individual band score of not less than 6.0) |
| TOEFL | 550 (213 on a computerbased test) |
The Ministry of Higher Education stipulates that all students entering
universities in Malaysia must sit for the MUET regardless of having
other English qualifications. International students are not required
to sit for the MUET. In addition to this, all registered students
are required to take the IMU English Placement Test during the orientation
week.
