All qualifications should include Chemistry and one other science subject (Biology, Mathematics, Physics)

International Baccalaureate (IB) 26 points (Chemistry and one other science at HL with a score not less than 3 in Chemistry)

English Language Requirements

Applicants are required to have one of these at the point of application:

MUET Minimum Band Score of 4
IELTS Average band score of 6.5 (Individual band score of not less than 6.0)
TOEFL 550 (213 on a computerbased test)


The Ministry of Education stipulates that all students entering universities in Malaysia must sit for the MUET regardless of having other English qualifications. International students are not required to sit for the MUET. In addition to this, all registered students are required to take the IMU English Placement Test during the orientation week.
