Applicants who apply for admission into the IMU must meet the minimum entry requirement and the English requirement.
A. ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are required to have obtained:
- A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree or equivalent with Second Class Honours Division 2 or above; or have obtained the degree of MB BS or equivalent
- A candidate who does not hold a BSc with at least a second class honours or equivalent qualification may, in exceptional circumstances, be permitted to register for the degree of MSc upon demonstrating adequate research or work experience for research studies at this level as determined by the Postgraduate Studies Committee and approved by the Senate.
B. ENGLISH REQUIREMENT
- Applicants are expected to achieve an IELTS average score of 6.5 (individual band score not less than 6.0) or a TOEFL score of 550 or 213 (on a computer based exam). Please refer to IELTS and TOEFL websites for details.
