Abstract Submission


Conference Information

Please be informed this is a non-scientific presentation which allows participant who have not cited or have not published any papers able to join this conference as we are here to support you. Your finding does not necessarily need to be scientifically driven. The abstract can be presented based on your own interest of studies or based on your areas of expertise.  

Submission Categories

1. Entrepreneurship – We welcome papers employing theories of practice to understand a wide array of entrepreneurship phenomena. You are given a choice to discuss current leadership practices, challenges and future trends pertaining to business and entrepreneurship. 

2. Teaching & Learning – It’s all about learning together, sharing effective practice, and exploring education for all. We want to hear about your leadership successes, challenges, and future plans. Below are the suggested areas. 

  • Student voice
  • Co-creation of the curriculum
  • Changing practice through the pandemic
  • Wellbeing and mental health
  • Designing inclusive learning
  • Decolonising the curriculum
  • Impact through collaboration

Note: The programme committee welcomes submission linked to the above following areas but if you have other ideas, you’d like to share just submit your abstract and we will be in touch with you. 

3. Public Community & Engagement– We want to understand current issues, new trends and innovative practices in public Community & engagement. We want to hear about your leadership successes, challenges, and future plans. Below are the suggested areas. 

  • Contemporary issues in community engagement
  • SGDs: submissions on all the 17 goals will be considered especially ending poverty and hunger, reducing inequalities, promotinghealth, climate action and living sustainably, etc.
  • Anti-bullying

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Abstract Submissions due date(Both Oral & Poster) by: September 10, 2022
  • Authors notified of acceptance by: September 19, 2022
  • Presenting author must be registered and made payment by: September 28, 2022
  • Presenting author presentation materials (slides or poster) submitted to IMU Alumni Relations Office via email by: September 26, 2022
  • Presenting author available for assigned presentation time for both physical and virtual event: September 30 – October 1, 2022

Abstract Selection and Presentation

The committee will review all submission abstracts. Notification regarding abstract acceptances and scheduling will be sent via email to the submitting author. Please note, if your abstract is accepted for oral presentation, the presenting author will be permitted a maximum of 1 oral presentation in the programs.
