ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

International Medical University, School of Dentistry, is celebrating our 15th anniversary and will be organising our first IMU International Dental Conference (IIDC) in conjuction with our annual International Dental Students Conference (IDSC) to be held on 23 - 26 September 2022. The theme of this conference is “Nurturing Dental Professionals” that aims to provide a platform enhance research knowledge and clinical skills of dental practitioners, researchers, undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Abstract Submission Guidelines


General Information
The Scientific Program Committee is delighted to invite you to submit abstracts for the following presentation categories

  1. Oral Presentation (Research)
  2. Clinical case presentation (case report OR case series)
  3. Oral Health Promotion Video
  4. Dental Photography competition
  5. Quiz competition
    • To participate in any of the above five competition categories, the first author or the presenting author must be registered for the conference held.
    • The first author will receive a notification regarding the approval as well as information regarding date and time of the presentations well in advance.
Awards in Each Category
1st place = RM 600.00
2nd place: RM 400.00
 

Timelines:

  • Abstract Submission Deadline: 15 August 2022
  • The first author will receive a notification regarding the approval by 20 August 2022 
  • Submission of FINAL presentation slides and videos for all categories: 27 August 2022
  • Information regarding date and time of the presentations will be notified by 2 September 2022
