Required Qualifications

Clinical Manager, Psychology and Counselling Learning Centre (PCLC)
Overview
The Clinical Manager, Psychology and Counselling Learning Centre (PCLC) is expected to provide leadership and management to ensure the successful delivery of professional counselling and mental health services for the public.Qualifications
- Master’s in Counselling (licensed and registered with the Malaysian Board of Counsellors) or Master of Clinical Psychology (registered with Allied Health Professions Council / Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology)
- Minimum of 3 years of counselling/clinical experience
- Ability to conduct psychological testing is preferred
- Possess leadership skills, interpersonal skills and sense of responsibility
- Ability to communicate in more than 1 language (in addition to English) is an advantage
Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Management of counselling and psychological services at PCLC.
- Supervise PCLC’s operations and administrative processes.
- Provide professional psychological and/or counselling services to clients at PCLC, as and when required.
- Provide onsite supervision and management of counselling/clinical psychology trainees at PCLC, as and when necessary.
- Lead, organize and implement community projects/workshops, outreach work, group work, where relevant.
- Promote best practices in mental health by working in collaboration and liaising with the trainees, faculty and administrative departments of the University.

Bioveterinary Science

Clinical Psychology (Master)

Required Qualifications
Candidate required to fulfill the following requirement:- MUST be a registered counsellor under Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (LKM).
- PhD/Doctorate degree in counselling or master’s degree in Counselling or Counselling Psychology with minimum of 5 years of teaching of teaching OR practising counsellor experience OR both teaching and practicing experiences are greatly valued.
Preferred Qualifications

Psychology

Human Biology (Anatomy)

Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Health and Health Informatics
Position: Senior Lecturer
The successful candidate is expected to have at least a postgraduate degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or related fields. Candidate must also have demonstrated expertise in both practice and scholarship in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Evidence of fundable research in the field of Data Science and demonstrated excellence in teaching are required for these positions. Community Medicine
Candidates are expected to have an MBBS or its equivalent qualification (registerable with the Malaysian Medical Council) and an MPH with a Dr.PH /PhD. Candidates must also have an established record of research with evidence of publications and must possess relevant teaching experience. Working experience in Malaysia and specialisation in a specific public health specialty such as Environmental Health, Occupational Health and Health Management will be an added advantage.
Chiropractic (Physiologist or Anatomist)
Candidates are expected to have MBBS or its equivalent qualification with a Master’s in Physiology or Anatomy.
Chiropractic
Candidates are expected to have a professional degree in Chiropractic from a fully accredited CCE, CCEA, ECCE or CCEC programme and preferably a PG Diploma, Fellowship or a Master’s degree in related field such as Radiology, Neurology, Rehabilitation, Paediatric, etc. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical and teaching experience and must be eligible for registration with the Malaysian Traditional and Complementary Medicine Council.
Dentistry

Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree or an equivalent dental degree that is in the accredited list of the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) and a higher academic qualification such as a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. Candidates whose basic dental degree is not in the accredited list of Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) will need to have at least 5 years of clinical experience including relevant research and teaching experience after receiving their postgraduate qualifications. Candidates with a PhD or a professional qualification such as the FDS from a Royal College of Surgeons in the United Kingdom or Australia or other recognised clinical qualification in their respective fields are preferred.
Chinese Medicine
Candidates must graduate from Bachelor of TCM, hold a postgraduate qualification (Master’s and/or PhD)in TCM. Candidates should have experience in teaching, clinical practice and/or research. Candidates should be able to communicate in both Chinese and English.
