Prof. Abida Shaheen is a distinguished academician at Shifa Tameer-e-Millat University (STMU), serving as a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at Shifa College of Medicine. She is actively involved in postgraduate education, supervising PhD students in Pharmacology and contributing as a faculty member at the Shifa School of Health Professions Education (SSHPE) for the MHPE program. She holds an MBBS, MPhil, PhD in Pharmacology, and a master’s in health professions education (MHPE). Additionally, she is a Fellow of the International FAIMER Institute, demonstrating her expertise in medical education leadership, curriculum development, and faculty training.
With an extensive career in medical education, Prof. Shaheen has played a pivotal role in advancing pharmacological education and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students. She has conducted more than fifty national and international workshops including conference workshops and pre-conference workshops at the prestigious AMEE annual conferences. Through her diverse roles in education, research, and leadership, Prof. Abida Shaheen continues to make significant contributions to medical education and Pharmacology.
