Prof Dr Kavitha Nagandla, FRCOG, serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the International Medical University, Malaysia, where she is also a consultant obstetrician and gynecologist. With over 21 years of clinical experience, Dr Nagandla specializes in preventive gynecology, with a notable focus on the integration of artificial intelligence into healthcare research. She has an extensive background in medical education, having spent 16 years in curriculum development, assessment strategies, and pedagogical innovation.

Dr Nagandla has been instrumental in developing the MRCOG postgraduate training curriculum accredited by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is a strong advocate for interprofessional learning, actively incorporating it into both undergraduate and postgraduate training programs to enhance collaborative healthcare education. Her research interests lie in advancing preventive measures in women's health, particularly through the application of digital imaging.

Dr. Nagandla has authored and edited several academic books and has contributed to over 50 Journal publications, including works in the Cochrane Protocol and BMJ. She holds a Fellowship in Medical Education from the FAIMER Institute and has received accolades for her research, including a Gold Medal for a clinical drug trial abstract on HIV in pregnancy. Dr. Nagandla's professional journey is marked by a commitment to enhancing medical education and shaping the future of women's healthcare globally.
