Dr Lee Shuh Shing

Dr. Lee Shuh Shing is a distinguished medical educationalist at the Centre for Medical Education, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. With a PhD in Education, she is a passionate advocate for advancing higher education and medical education. As the head of the research team at CenMED, Dr. Lee spearheads innovative collaborative research projects both locally and globally.
Her editorial expertise shines as the Managing Editor of The Asia Pacific Scholar (TAPS) journal, recently indexed in the prestigious Web of Science and SCOPUS. Dr. Lee is committed to faculty development and has designed impactful medical education elective programs for students, catering to both local and international contexts.
Her scholarly pursuits focus on students’ cognition, teaching and learning methodologies, and qualitative research. Dr. Lee serves on the editorial boards of multiple esteemed journals (such as BMC Medical Education) and is an active member of the BEME Council. Her extensive contributions to the field are reflected in her numerous publications, including articles and book chapters on general and medical education.
