Prof Dr Madiha Sajjad is an accomplished histopathologist, academician, medical educationist and researcher. She currently serves as Professor of Pathology and visiting faculty for the master’s in health professions education (MHPE) program at Riphah International University, where she plays a pivotal role in advancing medical education.
Dr Madiha has a special interest in curriculum development and assessment. Her work focuses on teaching and learning, and assessment strategies, ensuring that educational methods evolve with the needs of modern learners.
She is also a passionate researcher and mentor, supervising the research theses of master's students in both medical and health professions education. Her contributions to academic discourse are reflected in her multiple research publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals. Her research focuses on innovative educational strategies, assessment validity, and evaluation tools, helping bridge the gap between theory and practical application in medical education.
Beyond her contributions to traditional medical education, she has a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications in academic and research fields. She is particularly interested in how AI-driven tools can enhance learning, refine assessment methods, and streamline research workflows. This intersection of AI and education is an area where she sees potential for significant impact, particularly in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of medical training with the latest advancements in technology-driven education.
