Dr. Rehan Ahmed Khan is a distinguished surgeon, academician, and medical educationist with extensive expertise in medical education, assessment, and artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. He serves as Dean of the Institute of Assessment, Director of Medical Education, and Professor of Surgery at Riphah International University. Additionally, he is a Visiting Professor of Medical Education at the University of Lahore and a Core Tutor for the Master's in Medical Education Program at the University of Warwick.

With a deep interest in AI, assessment, and curriculum development, Dr. Khan teaches innovative and impactful courses such as Artificial Intelligence in Research (AIR), Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIE), and AI for Digital Leaders (AIDL). As Editor-in-Chief of the Health Professions Educator Journal, he has contributed significantly to academic discourse, having authored over 100 research publications. His scholarly work has established him as a prominent figure in medical education and research.

Dr. Khan is also a published author, having co-authored the book "Artificial Intelligence for Health Professionals" with Dr. Masood Jawaid. This book explores the transformative role of AI in healthcare and medical education, providing valuable insights for educators, clinicians, and researchers.

Beyond his academic contributions, Dr. Khan actively mentors Master's and PhD students, guiding the next generation of healthcare professionals and researchers. His work continues to shape the future of medical education, AI integration, and surgical training.
