Saadia Sultana (Pakistan)

Professor Dr Saadia Sultana is an accomplished clinician, educator, researcher, and academic leader. She currently serves as the Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Islamic International Medical College (IIMC), Riphah International University, Rawalpindi.

With over two decades of experience, she has contributed significantly to the fields of women's health and medical education. She is the longstanding editor of the Journal of Islamic International Medical College (JIIMC) since 2009, and Chairperson of the Curriculum Development Committee at IIMC. Dr Saadia is actively involved in health professions education as a member of the Medical Education Department and examiner for CHPE and MHPE programs at Riphah International University, RMU and SZBMU.

Her academic influence extends nationally as a reviewer for HEC's NRPU-funded university research projects and internationally as an instructor for Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO). She is also a member of the organizing committee for the prestigious International Conference on Medical Education (ICME).

Prof Saadia's area of interest include teaching, clinical practice, curriculum development, AI in education and healthcare, research, and mentoring. She is a prolific author with over 30 original research papers and case reports published in peer-reviewed national and international journals. She has conducted and facilitated numerous workshops and presented in multiple conferences globally—earnings multiple gold medals and best presenter awards, including at ICME Baku 2023 and international conferences in 2019 and 2022.

Among her many accolades are the Best Mentor Award, Employee of the Year, and a Letter of Appreciation (2013) from IIMC. She is also a lifelong member of SOGP, SOLES, and the LSM International Group.
