Professor Dr. Shabana Ali presently holds the position of Professor and Head of the Anatomy Department, as well as Assistant Dean of Medical Education and ORIC at the Islamic International Medical College (IIMC) in Rawalpindi. Since August 12, 2004, she has been affiliated with Riphah International University, where she has contributed substantially to medical education and research. With over 21 years of teaching experience, she is recognized as a national and international speaker, possessing numerous publications in reputable national and international journals. She has presented her research at various international medical education conferences and has conducted workshops globally. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer for several national and international medical education and anatomy journals. Her areas of expertise in medical education encompass curriculum development, faculty development, artificial intelligence, and research. Furthermore, she facilitates and supervises the master's in health Professions Education and M.Phil programs.

As assistant Dean at RARE/ORIC, she actively manages research-based activities at IIMC and plays a crucial role in coordinating the Institutional Review Committee, Flipped Classrooms, and ASPIRE Faculty Development Committee. She is an active member of the Assessment Committee, PBL Development & Scrutiny Committee, and Synopsis Review Committee at IIMC.
