Weeming Lau is a senior lecturer at Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. She holds a Master in Internal Medicine and is clinically trained. She has a Master of Health Professional Education and is the lead coordinator for Clinical Skills (early years) in the Medicine program. She also facilitates and assesses Ethics. She is a member of APBEN, ANZAHPE and AMEE. She has conducted workshops at APBEN, AMEE, ANZAHPE, APMEC and IMEC on topics such as feedback, ethics, and generative artificial intelligence. Her current research explores the intersection of effective feedback, and technology-enhanced learning, with a particular focus on generative artificial intelligence, innovative pedagogy, and the valuable insights gained from students' perspectives.
