Responsible to facilitate learning and carry out research activities in the IMU. Teach academic subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, tutorials, problem solving learning, practical laboratory demonstrations, field work and e-learning. Multimedia technologies are increasingly used. Encouraged to pursue own areas of research and develop these in order to contribute to the wider research activities of the department. Involved in academic management work as and when required by the Head of Department. This includes coordination work, eg module, semester, etc. May take on a pastoral role to mentor and guide students.
We are seeking a motivated and accomplished academic clinician to join our School of Medicine as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Pathology. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality medical education, mentoring students, advancing research initiatives, and contributing to clinical excellence.

Candidates are required to have minimum a professional degree in Chiropractic from a fully accredited CCE, CCEA, ECCE or CCEC programme and preferably a Diplomate, Fellowship or a Master’s degree in related field such as Radiology, Sports, Paediatrics or Neurology. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years clinical and teaching experiences and must be eligible for registration with the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Council of Malaysia. Proven records of programme development, assessment and accreditation are required.

Candidates must specialise in any of the above disciplines. Candidates must have recognised basic and post-graduate degrees in the respective disciplines and with relevant working experience. Candidate should possess MBBS or equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council and a post-graduate qualification recognized by National Specialist Register of Malaysia.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a postgraduate qualification (Master’s and/or PhD) in TCM. They should have proven experience in teaching, clinical practice, and/or research within the field of TCM. We are looking for individuals who are committed to excellence and can work collaboratively as part of a team. Candidates must be registered with the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Council of Malaysia and possess strong communication skills in both Chinese and English.
