Overview

The Clinical Manager, Psychology and Counselling Learning Centre (PCLC) is expected to provide leadership and management to ensure the successful delivery of professional counselling and mental health services for the public.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Counselling (licensed and registered with the Malaysian Board of Counsellors) or Master of Clinical Psychology (registered with Allied Health Professions Council / Malaysian Society of Clinical Psychology)
• Minimum of 3 years of counselling/clinical experience

Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Management of counselling and psychological services at PCLC.
• Supervise PCLC’s operations and administrative processes.

Evidence of fundable research in the field of Data Science and demonstrated excellence in teaching are required for these positions. A strong industry network and experience in designing and building healthcare data analytics solutions will be an added advantage.

  Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree or an equivalent dental degree that is in the accredited list of the Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) and a higher academic qualification such as a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification. Candidates whose basic dental degree is not in the accredited list of Malaysian Dental Council (MDC) will need to have at least 5 years of clinical experience including relevant research and teaching experience after receiving their postgraduate qualifications.
