  • Tzu Chi International School Student Wins First Prize at IMU’s Digital Health Ideation Challenge
Lee Yen Tong, a student from Tzu Chi International School, KL emerged as champion at IMU’s Digital Health Ideation Challenge. Yen Tong won the top prize in this Challenge after a highly challenging and competitive final virtual round of pitching on 20 August 2022. Her winning pitch was Pingki, the Penguin Robot – a digital personal mental health companion for people with mental health issue.

IMU marks its 30th anniversary with Digital Health Week, a dedicated effort to enhance understanding and highlight opportunities of this fast-expanding industry among students, educators, and industry players. The first Industry Advisory Board (IAB) meeting for Centre for Digital Health & Health Informatics (CDHHI), School of Medicine, IMU was inaugurated on 22 September 2023. The meeting was attended by all 5 distinguished IAB members who were appointed by the university.
