IMU Students Explored Employment Opportunities at Career Day

10 Apr 2013

16 March 2013 – More than 200 students were present at the IMU Health Sciences Career Day which was held at the Atrium, IMU Bukit Jalil.  This is an annual event organised by IMU for participating companies to network with IMU’s students.  The day is also an opportunity for the students to talk to potential employers about the current job market and explore available job opportunities.  This year, 19 companies participated in this event.

This Career Day gave students the opportunity to meet available quality employers.  It was not just a job recruitment event for participating companies but it also provided an opportunity for it to enhance the organisation’s image amongst job seekers. The Career Day also helped IMU’s undergraduate students to gain insight into the variety of professions and diverse career paths available. It provided an opportunity for networking, enabling our students to meet one-on-one, seek career advice and explore future opportunities as interns or employees. It was well visited by students who are interested to further their studies in IMU. The Health Sciences Career Day proved to be a successful event, proving again to be an important forum for businesses and students to network and form crucial industry connections.
