A Learning Experience at IMU for Pharmacy Students from University of Strathclyde

25 Dec 2013

A group of third year pharmacy students from University of Strathclyde took the opportunity to spend 6 weeks at the International Medical University (IMU), one of its partner university in Malaysia. The students participated in a research project looking at the antibacterial actions of essential oils and their potential ability to reverse resistance to β-lactam antibiotics. Additionally, they experienced Malaysian culture, food and hospitality. This is the third cohort of pharmacy students to visit IMU, through a scheme funded originally by the British Council under PMI2. inbound_2 inbound_3
