23 Dec 2019

A total number of nine alumni participated in two different sports, namely bowling and futsal at Manipal Playoffs 2019. It was organised by the Manipal Alumni Association Malaysia which was held from 22 November to 24 November. Shaun Aaron, who recently graduated with his degree from IMU and currently working part-time at the Alumni Relations Office (ARO) was tasked by IMU Alumni Association President, A/Prof Dr Gandhi Nathan Solayar to recruit two teams for both sports. In the end, IMU Bowling Team won the Gold Medals, beating two other teams from Manipal. The star of the team is no other than Nadine Kong Xiao Feng, a SUKMA player. An IMU Alumni team shine in a bowling competition.

Alumni Relations Office (ARO) believed that this would be the stepping stone for more alumni to join and represent IMU, especially in similar sports and tournament like this.
