Two dentistry students won prizes at conferences. An IMU final year dentistry student, Jimmy Lim Teong Sek won the first place at the national level DENTSPLY Sirona University Endodontic Case Contest Asia 2018. As the first prize winner, he will automatically be eligible to participate in the 2019 contest and will present his case at the regional level together with 2019 Malaysian Endo Contest Winner. Another dentistry student who is in Semester 8, Suguna Rajendran, was awarded Second Prize at the 11th Malaysian Endodontic Society-Singapore Endodontic Society (MES-SES) Biennial Joint Conference.
