IMU Healthcare Opens Dialysis Centre in Sri Petaling

25 September 2014 – IMU Healthcare is proud to announce the opening of its IMU Dialysis Centre in Sri Petaling. The Centre offers outpatient haemodialysis treatment to patient with chronic kidney disease. Haemodialysis is a treatment for people in the later stage of Chronic Kidney Disease (Kidney failure). The treatment uses modern and safe dialysis machine to clean the blood and remove waste products such as potassium and urea, as well as excess water from blood. The Centre seeks to improve and maintain the quality of our patients’ lives. Our patients will be attended by a qualified and trained haemodialysis nurse who will abide by recognised clinical guidance and treatment protocol. The Centre comes under the purview of our consultant nephrologist and medical director, YBhg Dato’ Dr Zaki Morad. YBhg Dato’ Zaki holds various positions including the Chairman, National Kidney Foundation; Scientific Advisor, CCM Duopharma; Chairman, Chronic Dialysis Standards Committee Malaysian Society for Quality in Health; Elected member, Malaysian Medical Council; Adjunct Professor, UiTM. This dialysis centre is a joint venture with a renowned dialysis centre operator from Singapore, Advance Renal Care (Asia) Pte. Ltd (ARCA). ARCA’s network throughout Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
