IMU Welcomes Prospective Students and Parents to its FIS Virtual Info Day

02 Dec 2021

The International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia’s first and most established private medical and healthcare university with over 29 years of dedicated focus in healthcare education, invites prospective students and their parents to its virtual Foundation in Science (FIS) Info Day on Sunday, 19 December 2021 from 10am – 4pm.

Prospective students and their parents will be able to attend a virtual Live Talk on “Foundation in Science: Your Direct Pathway to Undergraduate Studies” by Dr James Edward Walsh (in the photo on the left), Director, Centre for Pre-University Studies at 11am.

This is the perfect opportunity for prospective students to obtain first-hand information on the University and how the University’s FIS can provide students an entry to IMU’s undergraduate programmes, which would lead them to exciting and promising career opportunities.

Prospective parents and students can chat with IMU faculty about life in IMU and seek advice and information on a variety of issues such as applying to the University, financing (including fees and financial assistance) and accommodation. This is also an opportunity to find out more about our scholarships and bursary for students with excellent academic results in SPM/O-Levels. The exact scholarship or bursary offered will vary depending on the students’ results. The FIS Virtual Info Day also provides visitors with the opportunity to look around the University virtually. The IMU Foundation in Science programme has three intakes a year: March, June and August. Enjoy application and registration fee waiver of up to RM450 when you apply during the FIS Virtual Info Day. Terms and conditions apply. Register now at www.imu.edu.my/fisday.
