The International Medical University’s Pandan Serai Café did it again! The cafe won two titles under the Category C (Private Facilities) for the BeSS (Bersih, Selamat, Sihat) Award 2022.

| 1st Award | Champion for the Safe and Healthier Cafeteria Award 2022 at the Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya level Competition. |
| 2nd Award | First Runner-up under the State Level Healthier Cafeteria Competition, which was presented on 28 October 2022. |
The award was presented by Puan Norrani Binti Eksan, Pengarah Kanan Keselamatan dan Kualiti Malaysia Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia. Pandan Serai Café had received this award for the competitions that were organised by Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) in 2017 and 2022 (two consecutive wins). This shows that Pandan Serai Café have maintained their standards throughout the past five years and have shown remarkable improvement in its food handling, as it is compulsory for all food operators to undergo a food handler training programme, placing importance on cleanliness and providing healthier food choices and food serving size.
Pandan Serai Café have also introduced the sustainable food packaging and ‘Bring Your Own Container’ (BYOC) campaign under the IMU sustainable initiative to support Go Green project effective 1 July 2022.
