Gordon Boo Kuo Tuan exemplifies the Young Alumnus Award: Professional Leadership spirit through his sparkling professionalism, sincere interest in excellent patient care and generosity. When he started out in Shanghai even during pre-pandemic times, it was somewhat harder than he expected and for that very reason, he is understanding and empathic towards fellow Malaysians especially IMU Chiropractic Alumni who aspire to make their way in Shanghai.
So much so that under his directorship in the Chiropractic Department of Sinounited Health, he currently has 7 IMU Chiropractic Alumni working alongside him. He explains his decision to grow his department together with his fellow Alumni is simply because it is in line with his goal: to make Chiropractic a solid option as an alternative treatment in Asia. Humbly, he emphasizes that he needs a team to accomplish his goal and who better to do it together with, than comrades from his alma mater. Gordon emphasizes on reflecting on the quality of his treatment constantly and shares that his clientele initially grew from word of mouth and references from satisfied patients.
Through his relentless pursuit of showcasing the very best of Malaysia through his work, Gordon has gained prestigious acknowledgements in the past 2 years.
