IMU Transfer Students Receive Warm Welcome at University of Tasmania

Seven pharmacy and four medical students transferring from IMU to the University of Tasmania to complete their studies, were welcomed to Australia’s island state of Tasmania with what has now become an annual BBQ, hosted by Angus Thompson and Dr Nick Cooling of the Pharmacy and Medicine disciplines respectively. The 2019 BBQ took place at Hobart’s Cornelian Bay on a gloriously sunny Tasmanian Summer evening. IMU and the University of Tasmania are long-standing partners with a relationship that spans decades. The universities has collaborative and credit transfer arrangements for their medical programme, pharmacy programme and research.
